A liquor license application is something that a business can truly do on their own with some minor exceptions. Even those minor exceptions are in my view truly minor.
First: Go through the Application Wizard which can be found HERE and HERE. It will tell you the fees you need to pay and you need to include this as part of your complete application.
Second: Send the 30 day notice to the local community board. Community Board/Municipality 30 Day Notification and proof of mailing or delivery (must use the Standardized Notice Form and wait 30 days after notification to file your application with the Authority) must be submitted with your application even if you’re looking for a temporary permit.
Third: Complete the application: Application On Premises Consumption – Complete
Fourth: Include the following with your application (must be include at the time of filing regardless of complete application or temporary permit):
• All Fees
• $1,000 Penal Bond: Click HERE to apply.
• Proof of citizenship (copies of passports will do)
• Photos of the premises and principals
• Photo Identification for each principal
• Lease/Deed/Management Agreement (if applicable)
• Contracts of Sale for the real property and/or business (if applicable)
• Investment Records (usually past 3 months bank statements)
• Diagrams of the Premises (this can be done by hand, see the examples/instructions here: Diagram Instructions
• Filing Receipt
• Menu (yes, print it out)
• Restroom waiver request (if only one restroom)
