Does every business owner go through some business planning process? Maybe? I used to think so early on in my career, but through the course of the past 15 years I have met some incredibly successful business owners who never once put together a business plan in any formal sense. For some of those successful entrepreneurs the process was simply trial and error: action, testing, adapting, and more action. That may be all you need. Why complicate your life and your business? Afterall, simplicity is everything. You can find simplicity in every single thing you do in life and in business. In 9 out of 10 situations you will be better off as a result of simplifying and letting go of all those things that don’t serve your path.
The point is, don’t judge yourself for being simplistic in your approach. Be confident in your decision to know what works best for you in your current situation. Take steps that make sense for you in the here and now.
