BlogStartupsWhat To Do After Your LLC is Formed?

March 17, 2023by Jeffrey Davis

A common question is what do you do after we’ve formed a business for you by filing your articles of organization (for an LLC) and obtaining your EIN? Simple:

  1. download and complete the LLC operating agreement form.
  2. open a bank account, and bring your LLC operating agreement, Articles of Organization, and Tax ID (EIN) letter with you.
  3. download contracts that are applicable for your business and schedule a follow up call with your attorney.

All of your business transactions going forward should come out of your business bank account. All contracts between your business and your client should have the correct entity name, addresses, and the correct titles in the signature blocks.

Obtain any licenses or permits required for the operation of your business.

Find a good certified public accountant (CPA).
